The Dodgers sent off Ross Stripling to Toronto at the trade deadline, and it was felt by fans all around Los Angeles. Stripling has really become a fan favorite over the last couple of years, and his sudden departure caught a lot of people off guard.
On Tuesday night, while the Dodgers were playing against Arizona, Stripling posted his farewell message. He took to Instagram to thank the fans and the franchise for everything that they have done for him in his career.
Ross was drafted by the Dodgers back in 2012 in the 5th round out of Texas A&M. From there, he shot up through the minor league system and made his big league debut in 2016 against the Giants. Strip tossed 7+ no-hit innings before being pulled on a 100-pitch limit in what was truly a debut to remember.
