Robert Lewandowski has a pretty impressive record too: he netted his 55th goal of the campaign, equalling Gerd Muller’s record for a single season at Bayern, to inflict a heavy defeat which was harsh on Lyon.
The French club were actually the better team for large spells, but they failed to take their chances, while Bayern were characteristically clinical.
