A whole host of Premier League clubs are interested in taking Liverpool youngster Rhian Brewster on loan next season, according to reports.

The 20-year-old striker announced himself as a prodigious young talent when he fired the England Under-17s to the World Cup in 2017, winning the Golden Boot in the process.

Brewster has been at the club since 2014, but found game time hard to come by, making just three total senior appearances for the Reds so far.

Jurgen Klopp took the decision to send him out on loan to Swansea City in January, where the forward impressed, scoring 11 goals in 22 games for the Welsh side, including one in the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final defeat to Brentford.

Brewster has now linked up with the Liverpool squad for their pre-season training camp in Austria where he will have a chance to impress Klopp.

According to Goal, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Burnley, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Fulham have all registered their interest in the forward.

In the Championship – where he excelled last season – recently relegated top-tier sides Watford, Bournemouth and Watford are also said to be keen.

Brewster will be given a chance to lay his claim to a first-team spot in pre-season before an ultimate decision is made.

When discussing his future with the Beautiful Game Podcast last week, the England youth international admitted that while his preference is to remain at Anfield, he will do what it takes to become their main No.9.

‘Of course I want to be at Liverpool next season, be fighting for a spot to play,’ he said.

‘Who is not going to want to play at the home of the champions?

‘Of course you’re not really wanting to go on loan but if that’s the best thing for me to do in that situation, so I’m going to get more gametime then that’s what I’m going to do.

‘But realistically, I want to play at Liverpool, I want to be ‘the striker’.’
