The latest uproar surrounding sports star Israel Folau shows racial minorities are only useful in the eyes of the left if they are politically compliant, according to Sky News contributor Daisy Cousens.
Mr Folau refused to take part in an anti-racism protest along with his Catalans Dragons teammates before a Rugby League clash against St Helens in Leeds earlier this week.
Ms Cousens told Sky News the furore shows the left want to force all racial minorities to support the Black Lives Matter movement.
“Here is a black-or-brown man who clearly has a distinct opinion on Black Lives Matter and is not afraid to share them and all of a sudden he is public enemy number one,” she said.
“What happened to that push to listen to black-and-brown voices when it comes to Black Lives Matter?
“It just proves again that racial minorities are only useful in the eyes of the left if they are political compliant, if they adhere to the political beliefs white leftist has set out for them.
“If they are not doing that, like Israel Folau is not, they should be flung to the wolves and we should have nothing to do with them.”
