Crystal Palace are facing up to the prospect of losing Wilfried Zaha for as little as £30million with the Ivory Coast international again seeking a move.

The 27-year-old handed in a transfer request last summer amid serious interest from Arsenal.

Unai Emery had earmarked the former Manchester United winger as a primary target but his preference was ignored and Gunners chiefs decided to break the club transfer record to sign Nicolas Pepe from Lille instead.

Palace were demanding a fee of around £70m for their prize asset 12 months ago but, according to The Sun, the Eagles could settle for less than half that amount should any of the Premier League’s heavyweight clubs register formal interest.

Emery’s successor at Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, is said to be a keen admirer of Zaha’s but a move for Chelsea contract rebel Willian is more likely to come to fruition, while Palace are yet to receive any offers from elsewhere.

Zaha has also previously been linked with a return to Old Trafford, while Chelsea have also been regularly mooted as a potential destination.

The player’s £130,000-a-week wages, allied to the fact he will turn 28 in November, are said to be factors putting of possible suitors, however.

Palace endured a miserable end to the Premier League season, finishing in 14th place, collecting just four points from their final nine matches of the campaign.

Zaha, meanwhile, struggled to find his best form and scored only four goals, representing his poorest return for four years.

Sir Alex Ferguson made Zaha the final signing of his United reign, but the winger struggled to make an impression under David Moyes and claimed earlier this summer that he hadn’t been given a fair crack of the whip, a theory backed up by his old team-mate Rio Ferdinand.

‘Wilfried Zaha was mishandled by #MUFC I believe… although the club had started a big transition & as a Snr player I should of done more to help him!,’ the former United skipper admitted earlier this summer.
