Mookie Betts was lifted in the 7th inning of the Dodgers game against Arizona. Betts was replaced by Edwin Rios in the lineup after experiencing finger soreness.
Luckily, the Dodgers are reporting that he is currently listed as day-to-day with significant swelling in his finger. Betts received an x-ray on his finger immediately following the team’s win over the Diamondbacks. Those x-rays came back negative, per the team.

If Betts has to miss any additional time, the Dodgers have plenty of options to replace him on the roster. Chris Taylor and Enrique Hernandez could very well start to see more reps in the outfield, but it seems as though Betts will not miss too much time if any.
For what it’s worth, Mookie appeared to injure his finger in the 5th inning. He would homer in that same at-bat, so it likely isn’t too serious. Expect the Dodgers to probably keep him out of the lineup tomorrow against San Diego.
Dodgers’ Health
For the most part, the Dodgers have been fortunate in their overall health for 2020. Corey Seager was held out of the lineup with calf soreness today, but that was mostly attributed to dehydration. They also just got back Clayton Kershaw from the injured list after he went down on Opening Day.
