Pedro’s final moments as a Chelsea player saw him stretchered off the pitch in their FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal.
The winger is out of contract with the Blues and the final at Wembley was to be his last chance to make an impact at the club he has spent the last five years at.
The 33-year-old came on 49 minutes into the match when Christian Pulisic suffered a nasty hamstring injury and the teams locked a 1-1.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang went on to score his second of the game to put Arsenal ahead before Chelsea’s job of winning the cup was made harder when Mateo Kovacic was sent off.
In added time, Pedro was chasing a ball in the box and clashed with goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
The Spaniard came off much worse and required lengthy treatment on the pitch to a shoulder injury.
Chelsea suffered terrible luck during the game, which they lost 2-1, with both Cesar Azpilicueta and Christian Pulisic picking up hamstring injuries that forced them off.
On the injuries, Lampard said: “To have two hamstrings (Azpilicueta and Pulisic) and a dislocated shoulder (Pedro)…Willian got injured yesterday and had to pull out.
“We were at the end of a long, long season and it felt like it came a bit to the tipping point today.”
The injury blow will be particularly disappointing for Pedro who is due to join Roma.
The winger has already signed a contract with the Italian club and the shoulder injury coming with minutes left in the match.
